Joining the Team: When I joined 360 ONE Wealth as the sole UX designer within the Digital Team, I was tasked with managing the design for two client reporting platforms—Insights and Altiore. It was an exciting opportunity to establish a design ecosystem from scratch.

A Critical Challenge: Soon after onboarding, I observed a critical challenge: the platforms lacked visual and experiential coherence. This fragmented experience created inconsistencies for clients across touch points, diminishing the overall user experience.

Rebranding Opportunity: In late 2022, the firm underwent a significant rebranding exercise, transitioning from IIFL Wealth to 360 ONE Wealth, reflecting a holistic, client-first approach. This pivotal moment provided the perfect opportunity to realign the platforms with the new brand identity, creating a unified and impactful user experience.

  • Missed Brand Alignment: Neither platform reflected the essence of the new brand identity—360 ONE Wealth—focused on client-centricity and holistic service.

Phased Rebranding Execution

    • A fresh, cohesive design was finalized and launched in just two weeks.

    • The revamped platform received enthusiastic feedback from the CEO and stakeholders, leading to a successful client launch supported by email campaigns and a promotional video.

  • Altiore Platform:

    • Due to its complex user journeys, a phased rebranding approach was implemented over 90 days.

    • Collaborated with the front-end engineering team to address technical constraints and worked with a vendor partner to rebrand the mobile app and landing page.

Building the Team: Hiring Jai Wadhwani

As the rebranding efforts progressed, I recognized the need for additional support to execute pixel-perfect designs and improve efficiency. Collaborating with HR, I initiated the hiring process and reviewed over 450 applications.

After an extensive search, I discovered Jai Wadhwani, a candidate whose portfolio showcased creativity and a strong foundation in design principles. During the interview, Jai impressed me with his thoughtful approach and went above and beyond by delivering a dark mode version of his assignment—a feature not included in the brief.

Jai’s exceptional work ethic and skills made him an integral part of the team. His contributions to the ONE Design System elevated our design standards and streamlined execution.
